As RECON’s President, Rob provides leadership for corporate operations, strategic planning, financial performance, business development, client relationships, and quality control. With more than 26 years of experience in environmental consulting and extensive knowledge of RECON’s operations and clients’ needs, he provides strategic direction that supports the company’s continued growth and long-term success.
Rob holds a Master of City Planning degree from San Diego State University and brings expertise in ecological restoration, arboriculture, landscape construction, and pest management. He is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner, an International Society of Arboriculture-certified arborist, a C-27 licensed landscape contractor, and holds a California Qualified Applicator License. He is also included on the County of San Diego Approved CEQA Consultants List for Revegetation Planning.
Under Rob’s leadership, RECON has built long-term, collaborative relationships with clients by providing high-value habitat restoration services and practical, cost-effective solutions that support regulatory compliance and agency approvals. He has played a key role in the large-scale restoration of thousands of acres of sensitive habitats throughout the Southwest, including areas impacted by wildfires in California.
