Meagan is RECON’s Restoration, where she leads project managers, restoration ecologists, and field crews in the planning and implementation of habitat restoration projects. She coordinates with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies and manages project schedules and budgets to keep projects on track and achieve project goals. Her technical responsibilities include habitat assessments; mitigation and restoration planning; restoration implementation, maintenance, and monitoring; and preparation of status and annual reports for clients and resource agencies.
Meagan has extensive experience restoring a variety of habitats throughout southern California, including coastal wetlands, vernal pools, coastal sage scrub, maritime succulent scrub, riparian woodlands, and native grasslands.
Meagan holds a B.S. in Environmental and Resource Sciences from the University of California, Davis. She is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner and is included on the County of San Diego CEQA Consultants List for Revegetation Planning. She is a member of the California Invasive Plant Council, California Native Plant Society, and California Society for Ecological Restoration.
