Field Director - Bilingual
RECON Environmental is looking for a Field Director to oversee a field crew which implements habitat restoration projects. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Will supervise implementation of project-specific restoration plans in accordance with the design, budget, and time limits to ensure successful completion of the project goals; ensure that work is being completed on time, on budget, and within the worksite boundaries; Communicate project status to the project managers through progress reports, field meetings, and work completed reports; prepare a weekly field crew schedule and communicate the schedule to the project managers to ensure compliance with the project goals; Coordinate with clients or their representatives in scheduling work, organizing necessary field supplies, and coordinating with other trades to avoid work delays or bottlenecks; Facilitate training of field crew in plant identification, irrigation, erosion control, planting, herbicide use, and small power field equipment use.

Candidate must be able to read and understand irrigation plans, be computer literate, and have 3-5 years supervisory experience with a background in habitat restoration, landscape maintenance, Biology, or related field. QAL/PCA or equivalent desired.
